Merino, Bizkarra make their mark

Naturgas duo Igor Merino and Mikel Bizkarra put their stamp on the Vuelta a Tenerife today with a seventh and eight place respectively. The duo finished together, 2:37 back on solo winner Esteban Plaza. Due to this strong outing they now sit 15th and 16th overall. As for the other riders, Ocampos finished 23rd at 4:49, Legarra was 40th at 7:45, Larrinaga was 47th at 8:22, Saiz 59th at 13:01, while Rory Martínez ended up 80th at 23:53.
