Strong Euskaltel for Bayer

Euskaltel will send a strong-looking seven-man team to the German five-day race Bayer Rundfahrt, starting on May 26. Igor will lead the team in his last race before he takes an extended break and closes his first part of the season, while on-form sprinters Koldo and Pablo will also line up. So too will Romain, Rubén, Javier and Daniel, so they should be equipped to fight for stage-wins as well as the overall.

Like in the Romandie, there are no mountain finishes (unless I have read profiles that are totally wrong!), and like Romandie there is a time-trial. Don't think Igor will make his mark on the GC, unfortunately.

You're tottally rigth, the race isn't really the ideal one for a rider like Igor.
