Galparsoro to ride the Giro
Dioni Galparsoro will ride this year`s Giro d`Italia, starting on the 12th of May. Earlier reports on Euskaltel`s line-up for the race did not figure Dioni, but according to newspapers, himself and other sources, he`ll ride the first Grand Tour of the year. The Giro will be Dioni`s first ever three-week stage-race.

I wish him very good luck and I think, he will be strong there, after his great Vuelta a la Rioja!!
Further, I think he will have a great motivation: He will become father during the Giro... :)

Yes, for the first time. He got married at the end of 2005.
It will be a baby boy, his name will be Danel. (that's the basque form of "Daniel")
Dioni is a bit sad that he will be at the Giro when Danel will be born, but he is very happy, of course!
