Bad day for Euskaltel; Antón 14th

Euskaltel did not have the best of days in Murcia today. The fourth stage, a TT of 23.3 kms from Alhama de Murcia to Aledo, saw the best placed Euskaltel rider come in 14th, that being Igor Antón. Especially Haimar Zubeldia was disappointing, as he was expected to fight for the win, but ended way down in 32nd. Haimar started out well, but faded drastically towards the end, and now lies 16th overall heading into the last stage. As mentioned, Igor got an okay 14th, Haimar 32nd, Jorge Azanza 35th, Iñigo Landaluze 41st, Unai Uribarri 45th, and Lander Aperribay came in 71st.

Hi Magnus!
After the first day I thought that Haimar could be in the top 10 in overall. I say he's better than the 32th positon in ITT...
But Fuji's result is a very nice surprise! He isn't the best in ITT, but this 14th positon is much more than okay! And he's only 24, so he can improve well. Igor said after San Diego that Anton improved a lot in ITT. He knows what he say! And it' good! Congrats to Anton! :)
Unai Urribari's result is so good, too. He is a very talented rider, I think, and he's younger than Anton.
It wasn't the best race this year, but there were some little surprises, so I'm pleased.

Yeah, I was pleased with Uribarri`s result. He certainly looks promising.
